It’s a new state of the art system called GOYFBACYOT. That stands for
Getting Off Your Fat Butt and Checking Your Own Tires. How damn pathetic do
people have to be to have 4 tire sensors and tire stems that retail for
well over $150 dollars? Once a season I never need to add more than 5psi.
My goodness is that so hard? Lazy and incompetent people shouldn’t be
allowed to own a car…
“Slow leaks” Is it that hard to notice your tire has gotten low? “could
save your life” A lot of things “could” save your life. A TPM is
exceedingly redundant on a scale of life saving things. FFS I even dug
animal bone out of a tire. That leak didn’t cause me to “wreck”. Not even
close “before each drive” Visually, often. Planing long trip, always. And
monthly pressure checks just like the service manuals instruct. The TPMS
mandate was nothing more than a push by lobbyists to make money.
FFS… A lot of BS for something that can be easily checked regularly with
a tire pressure gage.
Really. I didnt know a tire pressure gauge can grab a sensor id and upload
it to the ecu. Must be a great tire pressure gauge.
